JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Casual Merchandiser to start working ASAP. Shoprite requires the services of reputable Casual Merchandiser. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Basic Matric / Grade 12 Certification.
- Must have up to 6 months’ retail experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must be Computer literate – MS Office
- Must be willing and able to work retail hours.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the storeroom as well as on the shop floor
- To assist with loading and off-loading of stock
- To ensure items without barcodes are clearly marked
- To assist with back shopping
- To assist in training of new staff
- To provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to all customers
- To ensure all out of stock queries from customers are followed up with the customer service out of stock list
- To ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved
- To ensure the correct uniform and badge are worn at all times
- To minimize any losses by handling all merchandise carefully.
