JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Chef to start working ASAP. Food Lover’s requires the services of reputable Chef. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric
- Must have experience as Cook, Chef, Assistant Chef, Back of House.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must live within 25km from job
- Must have clear criminal record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- To prepare food for service
- To cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- To maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
- To clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- To comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- To report and follow the executive chef or sous chefs’ instructions.
- To ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely manner
- To assist in the setup and organisation of the kitchen workstations.
- To maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to food safety standards.
