JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Clinic Care Assistant to start working ASAP. Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited requires the services of reputable Clinic Care Assistant. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric/Grade 12 or relevant experience
- Must have Certificate or Diploma in Phlebotomy or related health care field
- Must have minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in total rewards, experience in a private clinic or primary healthcare setting
- Must have experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Must have basic life support (BLS) or first aid certification.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have proven competency in venipuncture and capillary blood collection
- Must be Computer literate – MS Office
- Must be willing and able to work retail hours.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection following established protocols.
- To label, handle, store, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis accurately.
- To ensure proper documentation and tracking of collected specimens.
- To maintain patient comfort and safety during all procedures.
