JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified General Worker to start working ASAP. Unitrans requires the services of reputable General Worker. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have own reliable transport to and from work
- Must have ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Must have ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
- Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
- Must have excellent organizational skills a must
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
- Must be able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- Responsible for general housekeeping
- Daily cleaning of workshop area
- Servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces
- To ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
- To notify building management of any repairs required
- Cleaning of entire premises
- To maintain a healthy and clean environment
- To perform adhoc tasks as and when required.
